Oh, hey there. I'm sure you have heard this little speech so many times before, welcoming you to the world of Pokémon. A world that's inhabited by powerful creatures that could topple and destroy cities but can easily be controlled by a ten-year-old. Yet people see Pokémon as pets, some use them to study, others use them to fight friendly battles. Of course, you got those out there in the world trying to be the very best like no one ever was. Fulfilling that dream of becoming a Pokémon master. Look, you get the gist of it. Unfortunately, this is not the case on this small island containing one major city. Here, Pokémons are people's survival. In this city you must watch your back 24/7. The rules you know out there don't apply here in this prison surrounded by water. Those that are foolish to come here will never find themselves leaving. But perhaps that could change.

Frequently Asked Questions: Q - What's special about this fanfiction? A - The books have an architectured story, from mysteries to time travel. From being awfully childish to brutally mature. Also, the protagonist ages. Q - Who are the Main Protagonists and the rivals? A - Red, a character from the Pokemon Video Games is the main protagonist along with his best friend Leaf. Whereas the character Blue (also known as Gary in the anime) is more of a frenemy than a rival. The main rivals would be Team Rocket Grunts - Cassidy and Butch as well as their Boss, Giovanni. Q - Is this story based on Pokemon Red or FireRed? A - The story has a few iconic moments from the games/manga but those events do not play a big part in the main story arc. Q - Is Ash Ketchum in it? A - The story takes place in its own universe. I try to bring some events from the games, the manga, and the anime. You get to see a different version of Ash Ketchum (close to how he has been depicted in the anime) in 2 chapters of this book. Q - Is Team Rocket the same as in the anime? A - While Cassidy and Butch are characters from the anime, they have a different overall character arc than in the anime. Team Rocket is darker than in any previous versions and has a purpose and a plan other than stealing. Giovanni's plan plays out slowly in the course of three books. Q - It has time travel? A - It does, time travel is hinted at in the first book with the actual "time traveling" in the second book. Q - "I hope the protagonist has a father, hahaha" A - Yes, he does. The character mostly appears in flashbacks but is an important character.Concluida

Serena, a performer that has had feelings for Ash ever since they met at summer camp in Pallet Town a long time ago, reunites with him and helps him take in a crisis in Lumiose City that involves mind controlled Pokemon. Now having to try and get Ash to be himself to be ready for the Kalos League causes her emotional pain and sometimes even physical. Ash has to find himself during his journey in order to be able to take on everything in his way, from his best friend Calem to his Arch Rival Damian... To even his own father. Half Ash and half Alain in the character of Ash Ketchum, there will be a good combination between battle styles and a good amount of combinations between overall personality and maturity. Ash is a teenager by the way! Will Ash win the league? Or because this being his first journey will he fall in the way? Amourshipping is the main ship of this fanfiction by the way! Rated everyone, but be warned for violence and some strong language (usually will have a star in the bad word) and some depictions of blood as well. (tell me if the rating should be bumped up to mature, I am still confused about the guidelines and what counts as what). Because of this, most of the population was forced into multiple civilizations protected under highly defensive domes. But one city in particular, stood out more than the others. The largest protected bastion located in the region of Neo Radia. It's a region home to the strongest resistance, the Royal Guards; highly skilled Pokemon trainers who protect their dome civilization and find ways to be able to reclaim the outside world. But where there is light, there's shadows that hide in the darkness. WARNING!!! As far as I love pokémon I did not watch most of the episodes or know their teams very well. Please do not get upset if I mess up on something.
