In the story, The Dragon's Embrace, dragons have always existed among our society, trying to maintain the peace by keeping their existence a secret. It is only a matter of time until that secret reveals itself and strikes fear into the hearts of men.
That is where the main character comes in. Alara Olson, an emerald fire dragon, is caught in a battle in which her life or death could determine the fate of her species. She and her friends must fight against the odds in order to maintain the peace between the humans and the dragons.
