The gift of the Rubicon Primaris and of the new, more powerful Primaris Marines is shared amongst the many chapters wich are part of the Adeptus Astartes organization. Welcomed by some, rejected or mistrusted by others, they are nevertheless a much favorable sight to the already thinly spread forces of the Imperium.
Accompanied by the golden members of the Brotherhood of Demigods, the Custodians of Holy Terra, this new breed has reached all known and unknown Chapters, from the savage Space Wolves of Fenris to the tragic and rare Lamenters and beyond, yet one last offering is still to be made.
Deep in the starless void, were monsters reside, great beasts hunt relentlessly.
Long is their journey, started in the lost epoque of Pre-Unification. In Exile they are damned and by Duty bound, with Hunger they stalk and with the ichor of humanity's foes their thrist they Slake.
Guardians, monsters, tyrants, slavers, sunderers, it matters not.
Who leads and what they leave behind is nothing but a great Red Wake.

The Warfield (A warhammer 40k story)
It is the 41st Millennium and the Imperium of Man only knows war. Chaos threatens to topple it, aliens and Xenos come at it from all sides. There is only war. But for the group under control of Imperial Inquisitor Haydrax Ishamael Ignatio Jacobeam the Fourth, they face the true enemy of the Imperium: the forces of Chaos and the Heretics that follow the Ruinous powers. But after a stop at Tarsis Ultra brings them into a warzone spanning a planet, much like many more. But admist the ruins and desolation, one of their own remembers the horror that awaits in the planet. Imperium (Aquila, Book 2)
[Sequel to 'Aquila'] Following the routing of the Chaos Marine Hepharion and his warband on the planet of Pelamon, Caius and the Ultramarines of the 20th Tactical Squad make a hasty dash for the outpost world of Alamarri VIII in an attempt to save their brothers of the Imperial Fist who have been fortifying the world under mysterious orders from the Adeptus Administratum and the Adeptus Mechanicus. Aided by Nuadan and his dwindling squad of Asuryani, Caius sets out to try and stop Hepharion and his warband before they claim another world while protecting the Titan heart salvaged from Polemeca while waiting for an Adeptus Mechanicus vessel to take it to Mars. Arriving on Alamarri, they meet Captain Finn Varis of the Imperial Fists and the Forward Engineering Battalion who reveal that the situation might be far more complicated than they would ever imagine as a series of ancient Eldar webway gates are discovered beneath the fortress. Surprisingly aided by the fallen Faustinius, their key to unlocking the entirety of Project Apocalypsis Dominus lies in a sealed data cache, and it is a race against time to unseal it before Hepharion does so with the cache that he himself is in possession of. Armed with a location - the planet of Novrasa - the Astartes of the Twentieth, Deathwatch Squad Ostentia, and the few survivors of the Cosperan Crusade set off for its sister, the paradise world of Orphis, to begin a plan to get to the uninhabited ghost planet. With a newly refreshed Bahad as their psyker, they feel on equal footing with Hepharion for the first time.
