The fabled knight of the tale awakens after a hundred years of slumber to defeat the fearsome Ganon and save the princess.
Will he be able to live up to the tale, though?
After being in deep sleep for an eternity, all of Hyrule's changed. Incluiding him. He isn't the warrior he once was, now messy and disorganized. Often covered in scratches, bruises and other types of wounds. Sometimes they're from a deadly fight with a Lynel, other times... he tripped and fell down a rocky hill. The always stoic hero believes he isn't up to the task, but keeps going in the name of duty.
Could he, however, be aided by two people? The Zora prince, Sidon, younger brother of the late Mipha, is happy to help Link in his journey, and the hylian (Y/N), a medic, or so they claim, he met while on the way to Zora's domain is willing to accompany Link when they saw the state the hero was in.
Will the everlasting tale be changed, after so many years?

WARNING: spoilers for BotW, description of violence/gore, ships Yes, this does include ships only because I'm a big fan of Revalink and Mipha x Zelda. I apologise if this make you uncomfortable! BotW is set 100 years after Calamity Ganon struck Hyrule, Link, the main protagonist, must fight against this overlying evil through boss fights (Stone taluses, the Blights or Ganon itself) and monsters. Mipha, Daruk, Revali and Urbosa had died to Waterblight, Fireblight, Windblight and Thunderblight and helped Link as spirits. But what if they had been healed or saved before they died? The story of Ghirahim and Fi continues. Many years have passed since the world flooded and Ganon was sealed beneath the waves. Having no further duties as the Master Sword, Fi is reincarnated and given another life as a human. Ghirahim's situation, however, is complicated. He is alive, but not the same. Can he reawaken Fi's memories, and will she forgive him after everything he's done? Even then, how will their lives continue as they are? (SIDON X LINK) (Finished) This is a story about Link who has to take over Zelda's duty to get force married with prince Sidon. zelda got a letter from the Zoras there they are threatening to attack hyrule Castle if they aren't getting the Princess. And Zelda have'd to agree with a marriage. But instead of sending the real princess to Zoras domain, they send Link instead. A boy with girly face. Now dressed in girl clothes. hopefully the Zoras won't know how hylians are build. and reveal Link's true identity. Link thought his biggest problem would be if the Zoras would reveal him. But he has bigger problem than that. Darkness threats to destroy the planet and Link has to be the hero he is supposed to be. But, is he ready for being that person? Or will Ganon kill him since he isn't prepared? this story may contain smut, but the main focus will be about the relationship between Link and Sidon, and the upcoming war. enjoy <3Complete
The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction
Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! Blighted Memories
Amnesia was a funny thing. It strips you of all memories, both good and bad. But what it didn't take away from Link was his caring heart. He wasn't a man who had time to deal with or worry about things like memories anyway. All he cared about was doing what was right. But just because Link had no memories, or any interest to reclaim them, didn't mean they wouldn't return to haunt him. Ever since Link woke up, strange things have been happening around the land. Horrific creatures, not quite monster and not quite human, begin appearing at night to terrorize the denizens of Hyrule. Link, not one to simply let such evils do as they please, decides to investigate into the matter as he travels across the land to find a way to destroy these creatures. It should've been just another job for him, just a problem the people needed solved, just another errand for the incarnation of Hylia's hero. But as he investigates, he is haunted by his past. Link's mind cannot remember what happened. But his heart did. He still feels what he lost, what he failed to protect, even after one hundred years. That's what draws something toward Link, the very same evil that created the creatures he faces. It follows and watches him from the shadows, taunting him, waiting for him to remember the past he's forgotten, waiting for the pain to resurface, waiting for the time he can no longer carry the weight of it all. As he journeys on his quest to defeat Ganon and save Princess Zelda, Link must learn to contend with another ancient evil that taints the land, all while facing the ghosts of his forgotten past. Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber.
