Aria was ten when her mother died. Her dad, depressed, decided he could not care for her on his own while he was in that state.
So one and a bit years later, Aria found herself hoping desperately to escape what she saw as hell before the month was over. But secretly she had lost all hope.
But then she meets her idol and her whole world changes. With a new home, a new school and a new family, Aria finds her life suddenly changing for the good.
Nothing can be perfect, but bullies and bad luck don't seem to bring her back down.
Until her father wants to see her again and she has to chose.
