4 moons ago, DuneClan and a rogue group called the Harbingers made peace. Now, the Harbingers have become a new clan, ShellClan. However, unlike DuneClan, they worship a dark and powerful spirit older than StarClan. Commanding their leader and medicine cat is a mysterious figure known as the Soothsayer, a cat rumoured to be able to change your fate. As more and more cats are born on the island, the friction between these two clans is starting to grow.
Also living on the island are the Children of the Ember, a rogue group who lived on the island before any of the clans. They have made an uneasy peace with DuneClan, but ShellClan loves to attack and chase them out of their territory. They are led by the Oracle, a cat with incredible magical powers who has been mysteriously missing for a year. In their place, her Chosen leads their dwindling numbers as the two clans grow ever strongcģer. Cats from all sides fear the outbreak of war, but it is not too late. Will you save Castaway Island, or plunge it into chaos and bloodshed?

Rising from the Ashes
The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Some cats were lost but those that survived resumed life in their now scorched territory. They knew that life was going to be harder than ever, but they could not abandon the only home they had ever known. The next couple of seasons, GrassClan struggled to feed themselves with little prey to be found. Yet, they refused to give up. Newleaf found GrassClan weak and starving but with hope on their horizon. Their oldest queen had moved into the nursery. Then, disaster struck a second time. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
