Death is a cruel, unbiased monster that only understands what it is to take.

Addiction is strange. It is being hung on something that you know will only end up hurting you in the end. You keep coming back because despite knowing it will be your demise; you can't stop. It's the high of feeling with your drug of choice. There's no such thing as moderation with an addict. It's all or nothing.

Love is mischievous. It pounces on you when you least expect it, grips your heart and messes with your head when you don't want it to. Even when you're terrified of receiving another broken heart, love doesn't give you a choice in the matter. No matter how hard you fight it.

A woman, with fire in her past and a tongue as sharp as a razor blade, and a man, misjudged by his upbringing with a seemingly stone heart, fall victim to the big three. Together, they navigate a world of hatred and violence and learn that love exists in this cruel world in each other.

He's never been taught what it is to love. She's terrified of ever loving again because it only hurts her in the end. They were both survivors long before the world fell apart. Little do they know, they will toss caution to the wind and give into their desires because that's what they always do. Like smoking a cigarette.

"It's been one month now that the world it's totally destroyed. One month that Rick and Tony are dead. You would say that thirty days it's kinda a small amount of time. Yet when every day you find yourself between life and death, then 30 days seem 30 months." "Everything changed. Those good days that you were sleeping in a nice warm bed and you were having baths with hot water whenever you wanted it they belong to the past. Now you are walking around with knives and you check every time even and the smallest corner being careful not to get grabbed by one of those monsters." "But wait a minute! I bet many of you are wondering who am I, where am I and what are these monsters that I'm talking about! Let me introduce myself.." "My name is Saphira Jones and I am an ex FBI agent. I am located few miles outside of Atlanta along with my family and the friends that I met one month ago. In case you don't already know, the whole world fell apart. Government, police, army, hospitals..They don't exist anymore..A really dangerous virus has been spread. The infected die slowly but it doesn't end there. After they die, they come back to life as those monsters that we call "walkers". And when they come back the only thing they want to do is eat human flesh. To kill them you have to cause damage to their brain. They don't feel pain. They don't feel anything. They are completely soulless." "So you could easily tell that it's the end of the fucking world.." I don't own The Walking Dead characters and plot. I only own my ocs, their plot and most of their lines.

"Because I needed to put them out of their misery," you respond. His intense, bright, blue eyes. His sleek, long, brown hair. His smile that's hard to hate. You just can't get enough. When it started, you were independent, only Flare was there to accompany you. However, just like that, you join a group. Rick and his gang. It wasn't expected, but you can't leave. You couldn't leave. Carl is your bodyguard. He's been ordered to keep an eye on you. Ever. Since. Day. One. ... It all happened when you were raiding an abandoned, old shed. That's where you crossed paths with none other than Carl Grimes. His distinct features remain engraved into your brain and despite thinking that love makes one grow weak; you begin to develop feelings for him. Regardless of what others may think, you continue to pursue him. However, when the group encounters various challenges that test loyalty, trust and courage, you wonder if it's actually meant to be. ... "Carl," he stops and looks at you. "Get away from her." "Why?" Carl simply asks. "Come here," Rick tells him. Carl looks over at you, then Rick. He shakes his head no. "I didn't ask you, I'm telling you." Rick grits his teeth. Carl reluctantly obeys. You watch him as he leaves eyes never loosing contact with his. Rick shuts the door cautiously. As soon as you hear it shut, you stroll over to the door and press your ear against the thin wood. You could hear Rick's faint voice. "Carl. Keep watch over her," he whispers. "She's dangerous." "What do you mean? She's a kid. Just like me. What makes her any different?" Carl defends you. Your heart begins to thud. He's protecting you. Just like what any and every body guard should do. ... A touching fanfiction decorated with intricate detail, heart-racing action scenes and a painful yet deliciously sweet storyline. The only advice I give to you before reading is to prepare yourself both mentally and emotionally. For yours to read and cherish.

Ever since the outbreak happened a few months back Lowell Winchester didn't have anyone besides his older brother Dean. Their father went off to hunt by himself in the worst time possible losing touch with his sons when outbreak started and their little brother abandoned them few years back to go and "live his own life" leaving his family and family business of hunting monsters and saving people behind to become a lawyer, so Lowell haven't seen him in few years already. But when undead decided to take a walk across the world, the first thing Lowell and Dean did was drive from Kansas all the way to Georgia to find their little brother as fast as humanly possible. Though their plan changed slightly when they stumbled upon the group of people that just lost a little girl in the woods and two Winchesrters decided to stick around for a few days to help with the search. Because that's what they do, save people. But only for a few days then they will go off again to find Sammy. Or as they thought. Because strangers become friends and as Lowell well knew; family doesn't end on blood, but it doesn't start there either, and one particular redneck is about to prove him that.
