Shaffron snapped her gaze to the sound of the claps. It was the prince. He stood in the shadows, arms folded, his eyes gleaming and shining almost as bright as the arrows hung on his back.
"Impressive, what next?" his voice was deep and it sent vibrations all over her.
She did not waste any time, absorbing the power from deep within her, rolling it into a ball and lunging it at him. He shifted faster than she could blink and he was suddenly right in front of her.
A sinister smile spread on his lips, amusement dancing in his eyes.
"Seriously, that is what you wanted to kill me with?" he clicked his tongue.
