Chase Madison had a tough childhood. Raised in a broken home and struggling with undiagnosed ADHD, he was constantly in trouble, injured, and outcast. Life didn't get much better as an adult. Jailed, abandoned by family and friends, and fired from his job, Chase walks through life looking for the next bad thing to happen.
But then he meets the Caelans. They look like and act like us, but they are not from this planet. They've lived here for years, posing as people of Earth, hiding in plain sight by using a mental ability called 'psy' to influence us-purely for the purpose of maintaining their secret identity. They have always been completely and utterly peaceful. Their planet had conquered and eradicated anger long ago.
Something has suddenly changed, however, within the Caelan people here on Earth. After more than 50 years of peace, anger has infected some of them-like a sickness-forcing all 939 to be quarantined here. And when they meet Chase, they discover something even more disturbing-their psy does not work on him. His immunity to their power presents a serious security risk. On the surface, there doesn't seem to be anything special about him-other than having ADHD. Could this unusual condition be responsible for such a serious breach of Caelan security?

A psychological horror about identity, survival, and the fragile line between childlike innocence and something darker. In this world, it is just as messy. Oh! Did I get your attention? Nice. Sorry if that was a word salad to you, but I have to catch you from the crowd somehow. The story centers around Conner. A broken golden retriever furry. He searches for simple physiological needs and steps up the pyramid to find himself in a broken world with nothing but rubble and all sorts of company. Say that sentence in one breath. Conner ventures out in the vast enclosed environment while trying to get a sense of his past, present, and future. The world is in ruins, from mysterious entities that nobody has the answer for their origin. Or, perhaps, nobody has the guts to look deeper. In this adventure, it has trauma, drama, comedy, oddities, tears, fears, death, and romance! You can't rhyme with that now, can you? Every chapter adds a puzzle on the piece. Revealing the big picture, or at least, half of it. This is heavily based on First Person POV, and how the story is dictated is biased upon Conner's interpretation. I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Like I told the psychos experimenting on me, I've got zero clue how I got my new powers, but I'm sure-as-shit not going to let them turn me into a deadly weapon (or squeeze me into a spangly jumpsuit). Problem is, I'm not so great at controlling whatever the hell it is I've become...Not to mention I'm on the run from my country for a teensy-weensy act of treason while being chased by a shadowy masked mute who may or may not have superhuman abilities too (but is definitely stupid hot under his off-putting disguise). This is the story of Ace. She was born into HYDRA with no choice but to listen to what she was taught. Her mother had been an actual SHIELD agent once upon a time, before she ended up with Aces father, a HYDRA scientist undercover at SHIELD. Eventually Ace was born, and Kara Athena Riley was born. Ace's mother had homeschooled Ace, while her father had worked downstairs on HYDRA experiments and tech until her mom got sick. Ace was the one who took care of her and when her mother died Ace became one of her father's experiments. She lived that way for 4 years, where she was tortured, experimented on, and trained to be an assassin, a soldier of HYDRA. She endured until Thanos snapped away half the population, including most of the people working for her father, when the snap left a quantum device unintended, it killed everyone inside except Ace, giving her powers and problems along with the ones her father had given her. So the story basicly is gonna follow Aces life with Tony stark who will eventually adopt her this is my first story completely solo I have no refrances so guide the timeline it took me and this character is my child so be patient and feel free to correct me on stuff.
