Trust was never something Kyoko gave easily.
Those who had it were few - and most of them were dead.

By the age of fifteen, Kyoko had already lost the person she trusted the most, survived things no child should ever endure, and been arrested by the very system meant to protect people. When everything seemed irreversibly broken, she was given a rare opportunity: a temporary stay at U.A. High School.

A hero school.
A place she despised.

To Kyoko, heroes were nothing but posers chasing fame and money, smiling for cameras while ignoring the people who lived where the light never reached. She never planned to stay at U.A. - only to finish the deal and leave.

What she didn't expect were them.

Through chance encounters, harsh words, and constant clashes, Kyoko finds herself tangled with several boys who are far more complicated than they appear. Slowly, against her will, a bond begins to form - one that challenges her beliefs about heroes, trust, and fate itself.

This is a Soulmates AU filled with angst before comfort, pain before healing, and bonds formed where none should exist.
