"You've been fighting the memory, all on your own
Nothing worsens, nothing grows
I know how it feels being by yourself in the rain
We all need someone to stay
We all need someone to stay"

"Hear the fallen and lonely, cry out
Will you fix me up? Will you show me hope?
At the end of the day you were helpless
Can you keep me close? Can you love me most?"

What if all those years ago when Wanda Maximoff was with Hydra, she had a kid? And what if she was forced to leave that kid behind? After being saved by her long-lost mother, can Luna Maximoff find her forever home? Find out in 'Someone To Stay'.

Inspired by 'Someone To Stay' by Vancouver Sleep Clinic.

Disclaimer: All rights go to dearzoemurphy on AO3 who gave me permission to share their work -0-0-0- Natasha Romanoff is content with her life at the moment. Not much has happened since she moved into the Avengers compound, and she's okay with that. She spends most of her time helping the newest Avenger, Wanda Maximoff, hone her raw strength, which is no easy feat. Natasha's happy to help until both of them start to have a few unfortunate realizations. Like maybe that twinge in Natasha's gut is jealousy, and maybe Wanda has a thing for women who could kill her a million different ways. (Slow-ish burn, post-Age of Ultron, takes place between AOU and Civil War when the six new Avengers are living together in the compound.)
