Henrik Mikealson supposedly died centuries ago due to a stupid decision to watch werewolves change under the full moon. everyone alive at that time knew of his death and grieved but what they didn't know was that Esther saved her youngest. the only way to save him was to put him to sleep so his body can properly heal. it was going to take three months but she died before then leaving her youngest to sleep throughout history and her family to believe he has passed. so when a certain tomb is opened he awakens in mystic falls alone, confused, and scared.
