**UPDATED** If there were three things Aviel knew and was sure of more than anything else, they were that: 1. Aviel was a Three. The caste that comprised the lowest and most poverty stricken part of Vallan. 2. She hated Vallan. She hated the castes, the rules, the laws. She hated the unfairly divide that seperated her from the Ones. 3. That she was unconditionally in love with her childhood neighbor and best friend, Cedrick. That they'd be together forever. That is, until he fell for another. Another woman Aviel knew nothing about. Where she was from or whom she was, everything about her was a mystery. The Cedrick she used to know ceased to exist. Betrayal and lies seep through the woods, and with the only person she thought she could trust no longer there for her, nothing is as it seems. And when Aviel meets the alluring and charismatic Ambroz, a man who promises her in escaping Vallan, she is torn between what she knows and what she fears, what is real and what is merely fantasy. Choose to risk it all, or lose everything.

An account of the last days of the ElvenQueen. Lairiel of Lorien was a Telerian elleth, and guardian of the Valar's creation. A chance encounter, on a political exchange to Greenwood, has her fate entwined with that of the Great Forest - she chose Oropher's son. She is Thranduil's most beloved treasure, and the light of the people she so readily embraced. But, as Greenwood falls into darkness even the King and his Queen are not immune to the evil of Sauron. ***Note: I wrote this story ten years ago, and I'm keeping it very much to its original form and plot. Therefore this is not a Gundabad story, nor a dragon fire plot. It is not influenced by the hobbit movies. It was how I imagined the tragedy of the ElvenKing, and was my very first fanfiction*** ***Disclaimer: All recognisable characters belong to the master Tolkien. Without him we would never have had such wonderful freedom of imagination. Lairiel and Ellenya are my own beloved OCs, their stories do belong entirely to me.***
