As the former Countess is originally from England; moved to the United States with her ex-husband when he began expanding his environment corporation. She meets a man who is completely different than any other man she has met before. Sergeant Brian Williams, a young man from Bronx has worked hard to prove himself in the tough world of the United States Marine Corps. Raised by a retired factory worker and a high school English teacher, Brian is a long shot from a British Nobleman.
Between raising her two young sons and a modeling career that skyrocketed due to a family photoshoot; Diana has little time for romance. Still there is something about the Sergeant that draws her to him like a moth to a flame. Brian, originally unaware of Diana's celebrity status, is attracted to her. Once he learns of who she is, he wonders could he be with a celebrity who has more money he'll ever see in his entire military career. A factor that doesn't faze Diana at all, as she wants a man who loves her, not his money.
What makes matters difficult the Earl of Snowdon still wants his ex-wife even though he remarried his former friend and lover, Camilla Parker-Bowles. Will Diana be able to convince Brian, they can make it work despite their difference. Most importantly will she be able to find happily ever after being a Military Wife.

I choose every aspect of this story because that's what I liked at the time. The similarities are scary and pure coincidence. It freaked me out at the time too (I wrote it first, they decided to live it later- or I was just good at guessing what would happen if H got married). This is a mature story, there's cursing and lemons. English is not my native language. I was 23 when I wrote this, there are some typos. The later chapters are written better and get more detailed.
