Paladin

Within the lands of Dur lies the realm of man, a vast prosperous land of rich agriculture and skilled warriors devoted to keeping and maintaining the peace inside their respected realm. To the east lay about the kingdom of the elves. Gargantuan trees and the finest elven craftsman the world has ever seen, not to neglect the skilled talents in archery and the unshakeable bond Man and Elf have established since the first kings set foot on these lands. To the west of man lie the kingdom of the Dwarves, a mighty and hearty race, their weapons and armor are of the finest craft and their wealth is nothing to scoff at, though they prefer to keep to themselves there have been many recorded moments in history where Dwarves have stood with man and elf to overcome the ever threatening races that slither around in the lands south, also known to scholars as the lands of Ortho. These lands harbor vile unholy races albeit the Gnomes who since recorded history have lived in Ortho but were forced into exile and retreat by the Orcs, Reapers, and clans of savage races of Man. The Gnomes now live off the map as some have said and none have been seen for centuries, thought to be now extinct. The races in Ortho have been in a constant war for some time leaving the lands scarred and desolate, resulting in cruel acts of cannibalism and constant raids on villages close to the border.

One day the three Kings of the Northern races rallied and held a meeting, to propose a solution to the looming threat from the south, on that day the order of the Paladin was established, to solidify the order, the finest Warriors, Clerics, Mages, Archers, and Scholars settled in a central location to all kingdoms in order to maintain communication and to fight off any southern races that may seek to disturb the peaceful life in the North.
