Raiden lui is the daughter of the Raiden Shogun also known as ei, she is out in Inazuma on a task for her mother when she spots something odd in the distance and goes to take a look, as she arrives she's the only one there. That's when she feels something or someone hands wrap around her ankle, she yells for whatever it is to let her go and guards take notice of this and try to assist only for her to tell them to inform her mother of the matter.

She is then pulled into a lake where the arms had come from and had woken up in a room that she had never been inside of before which turns out she's on an air ship she informed her mother and had ran into a male known as Noe archiviste. there they met a female as Amelia Ruth who was suffering from her true name being tainted by something but they weren't sure what it was. Soon Amelia wasn't feeling right and the lights around them shattered and someone had crashed through the window aiming for Amelia.

The two kept Amelia away from the man who looked a few human years hunger than lui as in human years she is 22 yet in archon years she is much older. Soon they escaped from the man and took Amelia to another room with few people but her condition had taken over her body and mind. Soon that man from before saved them both and treated Amelia's condition and ended up dragging Noe with him and the young Shogun catching up with them.
