My Hero Academia Fanfiction. 

The origin story of my My Hero Academia OC, Rhen. 

Rhen is a boy in Canada with a powerful Lightning quirk that he doesn't know how to control, or where it even came from. Being the only child in a quirkless family, raised by a mother with a grudge against heroes and a severe hatred for quirks in general, he was never allowed to learn about his quirk or where it even came from.

Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugou were playing at the playground like always when a young girl their age came into their lives. It was nice at first, until both Bakugou and Gina developed a quirk of their own. As for Izuku, he unfortunately never gained a quirk, and to make matters worse he was bullied badly by his childhood friend Bakugou while his other friend Gina mysteriously disappears without saying goodbye. Years have gone by. Izuku Midoriya is now attending at one of the most prestigious schools in all of Japan, UA High; however, his world was about to change when he finally meets an old friend that he thought he wasn't never going to see again. Disclaimer: This story will be following the MHA universe (with some add-ons of my own) so spoilers ahead if you're not caught up with the show. Also, there will be some content that could be disturbing so beware. For the record, I do not owe any of the characters from the show other than a few OCs that will be included into the story, I am just a fan who enjoys writing fanfic. Enjoy~

I do not own My hero academia or any of the other properties such as photos, videos or music I may use. 80% of the world has a quirk. Quirks range from amazing, powerful quirks, to weak useless quirks. Heroes rose to keep peace and order to the world, to save and be symbols of peace. What a load of shit. People became power-hungry and war kept raging on in the background. Some people wanted to make powerful beings with enhanced quirks. A man by the name of Eliphas subjugated 10 kids into making them stronger. Heroes don't do shit about these problems in the world. Vigilantes do.

The world filled with super powers is no longer a fantasy, the most action however comes from Japan of course. We've seen plenty of flashy and powerful quirks, the name of the super powers in this world, we have top ranked heroes such as All Might with his immersible strength, Endeavor with his bright hot flames. Or, you could look at heroes you might not have heard of but are making big names for themselves already such as Mt. Lady with her sizeable quirk, or perhaps Kamui Woods with a body made from wood? There are plenty of examples when it comes to great heroes, however, the focus this year will definitely be on the new heroes in training inside U.A. Highschool, a trio will fight alongside the characters everyone either adores and loves or hates and wishes didn't exist. And always remember U.A. High's motto: Go beyond! Plus Ultra!
