1-Surprise of the surprises!!!!Do we know what has shaken our average international Relations belief that we developed after the 2nd world war?
*1 The first unbelievable event to me was the fall of Berlin wall in 1989 that led to heal the 70 years old injury sustained by human conscious after the end of wold war second. It led to the dissolution of USSR as Michael Gorbachev announced about the establishment of a new commonwealth of Eurasian countries.
*2 And yet the same year another surprise was the emergence of the world wide web . Now e-mails got into working and websites became a new way of community making with Internet being most sought technology around the world.
- All these two big unbelievable led the entire world to wards a new approach on International Law and Relations particularly with respect to marketing, trade and business. Every where in the world governments indulged into deregulation and denationalization of the industries and businesses and even civic amenities had now begun to be provided by non governmental organizations (NGO). Politicians said that we will be just doing law making and the rest will be done by NGOs...Local Government at the root level of the societies got powers to be doing all that was till now done by politicians.
-Technology got supremacy over all the rest of activities in the world. The possible threat of warfare between the NATO countries and that of Warsaw Pact countries was diminished and hence all gossiping or fears of a 3-world war were died down.
-Polarization pawed way to a uni-polar world order called the Village World and what made a new civics to get born. Now a citizen in Oklahoma was supposed to be doing the same way as a citizen in Bombay, London. Frankfurt, New York, Sydney and Cairo.
-And those 24 countries founding the UNO had a membership risen to 195. What a changed had occurred around the globe!(continued on 20th century ends with a surprise-2)
