This story starts where most end.
You know the story, a monster stumbles out of the clutches of an inspired scientist, raging havoc on the world in a froth of madness. Mercilessly cold and naive, trying to blindly navigate a world that rejects his existence.

But is that how it actually went? Let's hear from the monster himself.

In this retelling of Mary Shelley's 1818 work Frankenstein Or The Modern Prometheus, a monster is forced to come to terms with his abominable form as he encounters an isolated painter on the forgotten edge of the world. But with a vengeful creator willing to do anything to get his subject back paired with the public's growing concern for the creature in the woods, this discovery will have to be put on hold lest he perishes with an unexpected friend.

This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy. Lucas is a boy trapped in his own thoughts, trapped in a world of loneliness. His ADHD makes it hard to concentrate, and his creative mind offers him only a temporary escape. At school, he is the target of bullies. At home, no one seems to really see him. Even his psychologist-who is paid to help-doesn't seem to understand the depth of his pain. But there is more to Lucas than anyone suspects. What begins as small acts of rebellion-lying, stealing-slowly evolves into something much darker. His anger and loneliness take on increasingly grotesque forms. He has no way out, except the destructive power he discovers within himself. Each time he strikes, he leaves a message behind: "Alone." A word the world doesn't understand until it's too late. As the line between art and horror blurs, Lucas loses his grip on reality. His masterpieces become violent, gruesome, and irreversible. Eventually, there is only one way left. But can he escape the echo of his own despair, or will loneliness swallow him up forever?
