Red Thread of Love

It is believed soulmates are united by a red thread or string connecting their little fingers. It is impossible to cut this tie, it is yours for life. Not everyone is fortunate enough to find their other half though, the truth is many of us never will. Vegas and Pete were that lucky and are together some time after the end of the series. In the most absurd and painful circumstances they fell hopelessly in love for each other. Some people will never understand how that was even possible. However, if you take a closer look, it was impossible for them not to. Here I use the color red to paint their love.

Pete's POV
My mind now wanders to Vegas' taste, bittersweet just like him. The taste of bloody Vegas. I chuckle at the realization that even blood's taste is not that bad anymore. Life is not that bad anymore...
