this is the new one, don't read the one one it's bad. btw pretty much everything is the same except thanks to simon (i'm adding the nightmare critters btw), i made crafty back into a unicorn and I plan to touch on that more. also the story will just be better thought out because I'm not just making it up as I go (what i mean is i was making new plot points without making an effort for them to flow smoothly into the previous ones in the last one, which is something i won't do here since i have a timeline for the story set in my head.) I also wrote out all the unnecessary characters, so now it's just the critters + anyone important to the story (say Godfrey, Elliot, Andy etc.) with all that mumbo jumbo out of the way, i hope you enjoy the new and improved smiling critters story :D

This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. This is only meant to be a marker of progress. I hope some may find it enjoyable, useful, and even helpful. This is my challenge to myself to get better and more consistent at writing daily. Rules I will upload a part to a story every day. Some stories will be shorter than others and some may continue over multiple days, but I will upload everyday, no matter the quality. Consistency over perfection.
