Frisk has freed the monsters of the Underground. Finally, monster kind is allowed to return to the surface. It's been 3 years since then. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really? The Underground wasn't built in a day, but it fell in one. Monster after monster turned to dust as the Human fulfilled their bloodlust. From the weakest to the strongest, from the most kindhearted pacifists to the mightiest warriors, from the queen to the superstar. Beginning to end. But in the end, the only one left who could stop the Human was the one who had nothing left to fight for. Sans' victory was an empty one. His brother was dead. TORIEL was dead. Undyne was dead. Everyone he knew was dead. Alphys' story was a similar one. When the Underground was saved, she didn't see it that way. The Underground had lost it's spark when Mettaton fell, and she had lost hers when Undyne did. In the end, it was the two weakest monsters in the Underground who were left for each other. Our beloved Monsters live at the surface for almost a year now. As Christmas time begins, they are all overwhelmed by the festivity and happiness this time of the year brings to everyone. And monsters realize: it's been a long time since they celebrated a family festival under the stars. This is basically a small collection of one-shots that play in the same universe. It will work like an Advent calendar, which means there will (hopefully) be one chapter per day , until it's Christmas eve.
