It was guileless from Baek Aecha to hope the things would change if she moved to South Korea. After living in North Korea almost her whole life, she decided to leave her family and go to the better side of her country. But instead of living a good life, she gets bullied at school for being north korean, has no one to relay on and is seconds away from being homeless at barely age 19.
That changes when she meets a man who offers his help in exchange for her participation in his plan.

This story is a slowburn that includes some enemies to lovers themes/undertones. The reader is female! ~~~ NOTES/ANNOUNCEMENTS/WARNINGS: When Y/N is in the games, I basically follow everything in Squid Game Season One, but I changed a few quotes and events to better suit this book and the inclusion of Y/N. The only trait I have assigned to Y/N is her player number: 055. You can imagine something else though! It won't be very important later on.
