The Infected Mind
[Book 1] Crawlers: once normal people like you or me. They had hobbies, families, friends, interests, but now they are feral monsters. The infection spread, wiping out almost half the human race, and leaving the rest as either Crawlers or Survivors. The infected's eyes will black out, before giant, black, bug-like legs will rip out of their back, giving them a newfound speed and agility, as well as an insatiable bloodlust. Body fluids entering any open wound, including the eyes, mouth, and nose, will seal the person's fate; they are now infected. It won't be long before they start screeching at the moon in a mock howl. The After Effects
After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects.
