Koa isn't your garden-variety vampire. They know more about human biology than any other vampire around.

Unfortunately, being the only vampire interested in biology has its drawbacks. When a new disease starts working its way through the vampire community, all hands start to point to Koa as the culprit.

Using their love for science, they have to find the real culprit or risk being banished from the only home they know.

But just when things can't get any worse, Koa catches the disease, starting a race against the clock to find a cure before death becomes more than just a possibility.
