Petens and Minchels

A peten is a kind of community or political entity in which the governing body, the minchel, has elastic and gentle authority. The minchel has 2 basic components: the xirel and the zetch. The xirel or manager component implements or suspends the rules of the peten; its governmental equivalent is the executive branch. The zetch or planner component initiates, alters, or cancels the rules; its governmental equivalent is the legislative branch. A minchel can have both the xirel and the zetch in the same unit. A habit is a set of rules of a peten; a sandstone is a basic or supremr habit. Speaking of power source, there are 2 main varieties of the peten: the fenpezin and the sapmelis. The fenpezin is equivalent to a dictatorship, a monarchy, or an oligarchy. The sapmelis is equivalent to a democracy or a republic. Any kind of community can be set up as a peten, except (sovereign) states and their components. Families, groups of friends, peer groups, and fandoms can be set up as petens.

I will start writing fictional stories featuring petens and minchels to demonstrate that political fiction doesn't have to feature states and governments. I hope that writers of political fiction will invent, introduce, and endorse new kinds of political entities and governing bodies. So much political fiction has always featured states and governments. Such a setup isn't just overused, it's also very dangerous.
