All Hermione wanted to do was look for her old diaries. That's all she wanted, truly. But she wasn't prepared for what she found instead.
It's been a year since Harry started being so distant with her and Ron and she is afraid to know why. If Harry knows about what happened then it's no wonder that he hates them, but there is something more to it than that.
Hermione continues to look through the attic at her home. She's looking for her diaries because she wants to start writing again. She stopped after being freed from her petrification in second year, she just couldn't bring herself to do it.
But now...everything has changed!
Why would they do this to her! What gave those fuckers the right?! They lied to her, fuck, her whole life has been nothing but a lie.
This a story that accompanies "When the time comes" so please read that alongside or before. And "When the time comes" is the sequel to "Time is life" please read that first to understand what is going on.

The summer before the third year happens differently for Harry. The Harry that returns to Hogwarts is not the same one who left. Harry decides to make some changes in his life.
