Symbolism is the act of taking a simple object or idea and placing weight and emotion upon it. Fire becomes the image of anger and hatred. Dusk is now slowly dying hope. Battered shoes turn into the representation of adventure. This collection contains poetry that utilizes strong emotional symbols, exploring the idea that not everything is as simple as it appears.
