Chrissy Cunningham is being plagued by nightmares. Having nightmares during sleep is one thing, but to see them during the day was something else entirely. Adding that to the list of also crumbling under the pressure of her demanding boyfriend, her controlling mother and loosing the battle against a serious eating disorder.
In a desperate need of help, Chrissy leaves a note in Eddie Munson's locker, the known Hawkins High drug dealer and local "freak", in the hopes that he would have something to help her.
He does, but soon Chrissy realizes that maybe it's not his drugs that keeps her nightmares away, but maybe the "freak" himself.
**Eddissy fanfiction because I will live and die with this ship. No Vecna, no Upside Down, just high school drama with two people who need to be loved by others and each other.

Steve(21) Hasn't had a chance to leave this awful place. He has stayed around for the kids, wanting nothing more to be there for each one's graduation. Confused. Lonely. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more?
