Attic Lights

It's not easy being the new kid in school, but Cassie can't help but feel like the new boy, Michael, is hiding something. He's always dead quiet - hardly ushering even a simple sentence, and most of all, his attire is just plain weird. Always sitting in the back corner, hoodie covering his face, and staring blankly at everyone. It creeps her out. So, when the two of them have to talk to each other in class, not much is there to say. Or, for Cassie, anyways. One thing that she will never forget though, is the chilling fact Michael has unraveled to her about why he is how he is.
