Eternal Certainty

Vala--an 18 year old living in the town of Veah--is forced to participate in the highly secretive Games of Encepes where her father works. The goal of The Games is completely unknown to the humans forced to compete in them, and the only information they are given, is to train both their bodies and their minds. Through the games Vala meets the stoic overseer, Kaius, along with other contestants, and starts to realize the corrupt reasoning behind the games. Vala is seemingly forced to choose between her free will or the advancement of a "failing" society, but a turn of the story proves otherwise.
