A massive canvas caught my attention, a chaotic tangle of red and gold lines that seemed to pulse with energy. Erasmo stopped beside me, his gaze following mine to the center of the piece.

"This one's beautiful," I said softly, stepping closer.

"It's based on the Red Thread Theory," he said, his voice low but steady.

I turned to him, curious. "What's that?"

He gestured toward the canvas, the faintest hint of a smile tugging at his lips.

"It's a belief from East Asian mythology. The idea is that an invisible red thread connects people who are destined to meet, no matter how far apart they are or how much time passes. It might stretch or tangle, but it never breaks."

// Betty Miller has spent years hiding from her past, but when the man who shattered her life resurfaces, her carefully built world begins to unravel. With the help of Erasmo Gomez, Betty must confront her fears, reclaim her voice, and take control of her story in order to finally achieve her one dream.
