Sadako Aikawa, the wife of the legendary sorcerer Ryomen Sukuna, helped her fellow sorcerers in their efforts to seal the powerful entity away. Despite her hatred for Sukuna, she was unable to completely destroy him and in the end, the Juju Sorcerers were able to reduce him to just 20 fingers. Once their initial goal in sealing up Sukuna had been accomplished, Sadako struggled to find meaning in her life, feeling empty and purposeless and ended up killing herself. It was popular story passed down from generations to generation. A story which everyone in the Jujutsu world knew. Inari, considered by many to be the reincarnation of the powerful witch Sadako, was known for her resemblance to the legendary figure.
