A couple years passed since Alex Auditore's rivalry with Murphy has ended at SummerSlam in 2018 and the Pharaoh is looking to a bright future after dropping the Universal Championship to Roman Reigns. With his wife Alexa Bliss by his side, things are looking up for Alex.

Currently, Alex is in a war torn feud with his arch rival and current WWE Champion The Miz, a rivalry so intense that has reached to the points of unscripted legit shoot in which they want to tear each other apart when the A-Lister brought up Alexa's ex-husband and friend Ryan Cabrera. The Miz has reformed a new Miztourage and has recruited his wife Maryse and his friends and tag partners John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler. As for Alex, he aligns himself with his wife Alexa and the current Raw Tag Team Champions which consist of his mentor Randy Orton and the Original Bro Matt Riddle, also known as RK-Bro.
