Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.

Adeline is forced to pull her weight for her family by working more than 2 times a week, causing pure exhaustion and anxiety. When time rolls around and suddenly Adeline is buttoning up her uniform for school, she's shocked as to why 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢 calls out to her in the hallway.
