I don't really have much to say about the story yet but here's what I'll say for now. Nichole and Niko are best friends, they have been sense they were in middle school. One night though, Nichole gets a horrific phone call from Niko. What's it about? What will happen? Read to find out!

I am going to be doing a major edit on this story in Feb 2016. When I finish the edits I am going to delete this version and repost. Mari has finally found a place where she felt at home with Dan. Though she is eighteen for various reasons he has been designated as her guardian. It has been several months since the events that led to her being changed and saved. Now Dan is forcing her to return to the hell she calls high school to get her diploma. How is she going to deal with having guys, and a few girls, hitting on her? Is her wolf going to help or be a problem? What does her future really look like? Will the new friends she is slowly making be true or fake? She is most definitely not looking forward to all the drama of kids who haven't encountered both the supernatural and living on the streets. "Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. That's not how the real world works, sweetheart. I may look like a damsel, but I'm never in distress. ... COMPLETED✅ Two high school teenagers finding themselves, analyzing this ever changing world, and building love. This is the type of love you wish you found in high school but probably know way too well that it only exists as fiction. My arm was twisted at an impossible angle, yet I couldn't scream because my mouth would not open. I could feel the kicks coming at me from all directions, and as I received another one to the head I knew this was the end for me and my heartbeat slowed. The stab wound was bleeding too much for me to survive. When they left me for dead my eyes began to droop and the last thing I saw through fuzzy tunnel-like sight was a man running towards me before one final rattling breath coursed through my broken body and my heart stopped beating.
