"The Gods aren't Immortal after all." Daphne has gone through more homes than she can talk about, and she is constantly on the run. She has only one person to blame for this of course, not her parents, just one miserable Goddess who has nothing better to do, than to make Daphne's life a living hell. As the Summer Solstice nears, Daphne is sent on a quest to retrieve a powerful weapon that can bring blood shed to Olympus and destroy the world as she knows it. Alongside her companions, she learns to trust those who aren't who they say they are and that betrayal comes by those closest to her. Caught between two worlds, her Fae blood calls out to be freed which the Gods of Olympus may want to keep leashed and under their control. On this quest to free herself from fate, Daphne will soon realize that Gods and Goddesses aren't what they say they are and that maybe power isn't eternal after all.

"For the sun is situated in the center of the cosmos, wearing it like a crown." - Hermes Trismegistus. She's invisible one day, someone else the next. She doesn't know what she is, who she is, or what to do with herself, other than to fight against the people who hurt her. The gods. Those kids in school. The teachers who criticized her. They all hurt her, cast her out, and made her someone who nobody would be able to understand. Since, without a name, who are we? Are we the color of our skin? The shape of our nose? The secrets that we carry? Thus, it is her goal to make them question if they're who they say they are, or if they deserve a different life. Some she deems worthy of her love and affection, others she deems to doomed to Tartarus. The gods think differently though. Some think of her story as sad and a tragedy. Others find her power and choose to use it for their gain. For it is one they have never seen before, and one that can conquer the world. Chapters change POV, every part. This is an original piece of work, by the Typewriter.
