Our characters? A starry-eyed boy from a liberated country, here with big dreams to change the world. A runaway slave, desperately escaping a life he couldn't choose, jumping out of the frying pan and into something far, far worse.
This story is dark. It's brutal. It will delve deep into character psychology as our narrators gradually sink in way over their heads.
