Famous actor, Jack Hayes returns to his hometown to lay low after a very public breakup. He thought he had left everything and everyone behind when he left, including his high school sweetheart Annabelle Beckett. He knew he broke her heart leaving her behind given he promised to come back and assumed she would never be able to forgive him. Annabelle Beckett never got to leave Rosehill. Raised by her grandma, when she got sick in senior year Annie knew her grandma needed her to put her dreams on hold and take over the family diner. Heartbroken when Jack left, she always held onto the promise he would return for her. Tired of waiting, she finally began to move on with her life, dating the long term friend, Baden Carmichael, when one day Jack walks back in to her life throwing everything she thought she new completely out the window. Can Annie forgive him or will his return be another broken promise?

At just 17, Blair and Cody were high school sweethearts with big dreams. They were both headed to university on athletic scholarships when a positive pregnancy test changes everything. Coming from two traditional families, they get married right after high school and Blair gives up her college softball dreams to follow Cody as he makes his way through minor league baseball, trying to land a spot on a major league team. The lifestyle is too much for their marriage and they end up getting a divorce when their son, Hayes, was just a young child. Blair moved back to Strawberry and Cody continued to travel around the country and even the world. Now, Hayes is almost eighteen and spending his summer before college as part of the young firefighter's volunteer program with the Strawberry Fire Department. Cody has since retired from his dream of playing professional baseball and returns to the small town he grew up in to spend one final summer with Hayes before seeing him off the school. Blair and Cody find out that the spark that brought them together never really faded.
