Merry (Dan Howell)

Merrin Porter wasn't religious, though she did believe in karma and some sort of spiritual force that overlooks all. And, no matter who the boy is and who the girl is, I don't think said mysterious force would be very happy with someone who falls for other girls boyfriends.

When Merrin moves back to London from her small town in Devon to take another crack at her A Levels, she meet Dan Howell. A charming, charismatic, attractive, older boy. With a girlfriend.

Merrin pushes her feelings aside and continues to pursue a friendship with Dan, but when she meets the beautiful Chloe Winters, who also happens to be Dan's girlfriend, to put it politely - everything goes fuck up.
