The Last Dragon

Reese O'Rourke has never known their family. They were born on a day that was known as a cursed day-October 13 on a Friday. Growing up as the only intersex person at Waterton Orphanage has been rough for them. They have to do everything separately from the other orphans because they're seen as a cursed child. As someone who never should have existed. Reese has been isolated their entire life, only being visited by their caretakers, their only friends being their imagination and the dragon statue that stands in the garden outside their window. Something draws them to the statue; something about it seems...strange? Special? Reese doesn't know, but one day they finally get to go into the garden and take a closer look at the statue. It's actually a gravestone for Sierra O'Rourke, a dragon shifter. That gravestone holds secrets and answers. Secrets to the dragons, and answers to Reese's questions. They will have to discover why and how the dragons disappeared. They will have to talk to ghosts, confront humans, and avoid unicorns, the enemies of dragons. It will be a difficult journey. There will be many obstacles. Reese will discover things about themself that the Waterton Orphanage caretakers hid from them. Will the dragons rise again, or will their last hope die?
