When Lia wakes up in the lift, all she can remember is her first name. She has no memory about her previous life and neither do the 60 other boys that inhabit the Glade - a large open expanse surrounded by stone walls at the centre of a vast and dangerous Maze. Lia believes she is just like all the other Gladers, until she meets Newt, and begins having strange flashbacks to her life before the Maze.
Lia is at first, unwilling to befriend any of the Gladers, but when things get complicated with Newt, can she keep it up?
