Asami who is a famous doctor in her previous life died of old age and reincarnated into the world where shinobi dominated the whole world and killing is taught as necessary. After being reborn as an orphan Asaami grew and learned that she is in a world that her granddaughter talk to her about.
Asami vowed to be as uninvolved as she can in the story until she witness the protagonist getting beat up by adults and there she knew that she would never be so uninvolved after saving him.
Asami then decided that if she did not want to become a mindless killer then all the option left is to learn to be a medic here to heal and not kill.
