Y/n is a US Army lieutenant, she was with her platoon when the apocalypse started. She was ordered to take down as many zombies as possible while also trying to get as many civilians behind the barriers to the rest of her squad to protect them from these blood thirsty monsters. Y/n was too occupied trying her best to get the Zs away from the little blonde haired girl, that she didn't see one of them creep up from behind her. A blood curdling scream erupted through the air, the noise drew a small horde of Zs over to her. The blonde girl took that as a chance to run.

When the world went to hell it didn't make much difference to y/n's life. She was alone before everything and she was alone now. When everything started she avoided people. It was easier on her own, or so she thought. In her eyes, people were no different than animals now and she wasn't going to risk getting killed just to have people by her side. That is, until she finds a small girl lost in the woods... Learning the girl had lost her group, Y/n, for the first time in a long time, was willing to find people. To reunite the small girl with her family. But when she does finally stumble across the group, which was slowly falling apart at the seams, she can't seem to leave them. I picked up every article of clothing as I heard the water streaming from behind the curtains. Folding her clothes near where she kept her shoes, I stripped off my clothes and stepped into the shower with her. My hands wrapped around her waist, as I stuck my face in the crook of her neck. I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of the ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she is mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks. And I want to be able to tell her, but with everything going on, I'm not sure when it's the appropriate time. Hell, the words have never been formed in my mouth. Not even with my brother. So instead of talking verbally, I let myself speak physically. Her body turned to me, giving me a heated kiss.
