Born as a daughter of the great Bathala, Mayari had to bear the responsibility of being a goddess. For hundreds and thousands of years, she had graced her people who prayed for her blessings. The praises offered to her did not ease her loneliness. And so she waited and waited for the feeling to go away. "Dearest Mayari" is a modern retelling that focuses on how MAYARI, the goddess of the moon, has blessed humans with spouses but could not seem to give one to herself.
