Doctor Calvin Davidson is a scientist working for a secret organization dedicated to cataloging (and perhaps understanding) the oddities of the world. When a strange cyborg falls into the Federation's lap, it becomes Calvin's job to figure out what happened to him. Easier said than done; the cyborg wants nothing to do with Calvin or the Federation, and is highly violent. That is, until they find the chip in his neck. Calvin and the Federation, now aware that the cyborg is being controlled, set out to find and stop whoever has done this. Unfortunately, these people have gotten away with a lot of bad things for a very long time, and they aren't about to be stopped by some human scientist.
