Icy Romance

Kara Ellis has worked for Catco for years starting out at executive assistant to the Editor-in-Chief of Cat Grant's media subsidiary before becoming a junior reporter. She had an ambition to become more than a junior reporter and when the Editor-in-Chief is looking for reporters to look into the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator which is supposed to be turned on at the end of the week Kara jumps at the opportunity thinking that it is just the story that she needs to jump start her career.

Arriving at S.T.A.R. Labs to interview the personnel involved with the particle accelerator Kara sees Dr. Caitlin Snow and her world is turned upside down. Asking Dr. Snow if she'd like to get a drink later so she can get even more information for her article, Kara feels a spark between her and the biomedical engineer. The multimillion dollar question for Kara, at least, is whether or not spark is mutual.
