Months after the events of "Letters from May", May Hanley had gone missing during the Survival celebrations in Eidhu's Molga District.

Her half-sister, Amy Hanley, embarks on a search for the young girl. She winds up as a hostage of a group known as Eidhu Uprising. Unbeknownst to Amy, someone else is trying to look for May -- a surgeon named Finch Able -- her ex-boyfriend.

Dr. Able uncovers files named "Operation May" and "Project Mayhem". His journey uncovers some truths about himself, Amy's family, and Sergeant Arni, the only apparent surviving officer of the Eidhu Police Department.

But days later, on the night before graduation, Elliot finds Colton in the lake. Dead. And on the day of his funeral, Elliot finds a letter in his jacket pocket with four words that send him spiralling: I killed Colton Crest.
