Jaoquin Lenal was never normal, he knew that. He was the only one who ever listened in preschool. In grade school, he listened to classical music, instead of rap and pop like everyone else did. He never joined clubs and sports teams, like all the other kids started doing in middle school. And two months into high school, he was outed. His parents, not knowing what to do, send him to therapy, where he meets Madame Ponty and is given a notebook to write down his thoughts, hopes, dreams and wishes. But Jao didn't need a therapist. He didn't need a stupid notebook. He needed to be somewhere else. Somewhere where he was needed and wanted. He needed a portal to open up and bring him to another dimension. Maybe that'll be the first thing in his notebook.
