Kit Wren is an inter-dimensional thief, enslaved by some malevolent spirit and force to scrounge through space-time for choice artifacts. His adventures take him across time and the globe, hoping one day to find treasure worthy enough to trade to his cruel master in return for what he wants the most: his voice. His current conquest is a fabled wizard, the now legendary Gideon Saint, of Wales. And Kit may have just met his match.

Sequel series to 'Last Knights of Cambria', with some reoccurring characters. Ahem, good people die, bad people live, everyone is inexplicably gay. Robbery. Haunted tombs. Murder. Revenge. Sick burns. Chaos. Drama. What's not to love? Yes, you may learn something about history but that's a risk you're going to have to take. Yes Henry V does show up and yes he's still awesome. Richard the Lionheart is also in this one. This pick-your-problematic-English-monarch-to-simp-for game is getting harder.

Trigger/Content Warnings: Some blood and gore. Fantasy violence. Some brief profanity, as well as a couple of homophobic slurs. Slightly more graphic and violent than the Last Knights of Cambia series, though nothing overt. Some mild sensuality, two character kiss. It is discussed characters have kissed. Another two characters embrace in what could be perceived as a romantic manner. Family/domestic violence that may be upsetting to some readers.

Gideon Saint is usually in trouble. It's his pastime to get involved in epic quests throughout history, namely the Middle Ages. Once again, he's run afoul of the Templars, and ancient organization of Wizards. This time, they are offering him the chance to right old wrongs, by retrieving a mysterious cursed blade. 1403 awaits. Sequel Series to Last Knights of Cambia series, and the Days of the Dead trilogy, ergo it contains spoilers for those. Similar narrative style and tone, that is if you want English history explained like Lemony Snicket, then this is for you. Ahem. Living people die, dead people live. Swords. Epic Battles. Mysterious riddles. Coded messages. True love. Traitors. Murder. Found families. Yes, Henry V is here and he is awesome. Did we mention swords? Tombs are described in loving detail. People are not. Yes you may learn something about the battle of Shrewsberry but that's a risk you're going to have to take. Content/Trigger Warning: A battle is depicted at length, relatively graphic blood/gore associated with that. A character is injured severely and must twice undergo surgery on page, this is fairly graphic and may be disturbing to some readers. Brief innuendo. Some brief strong language. Some mild sexuality. Catholicism is discussed. All disturbing scenes are usually forewarned, that is it's clear what is going to happen. Some brief peril. Some light disturbing humor relating to murder. PG-13 quality stuff, be aware of your mental state and seek support as needed.

Even teen evil queens need love. Right? (Or at least a handsome sword-fighting minion to do their bidding!) *** Bad things happen when Rowen is around and the worst part is, she has no idea why until a massive family secret sends her on a fantastical journey to fight her evil fate. Will Rowen fold into the forces of dark magic or honor her true self? *** On the surface, Rowen Keckilpenny-Brown seems like a normal teenage girl with normal teen problems-no boyfriend, overprotective parents, and no friends other than a three-legged cat. But her wild red hair, reptilian eyes, and legendary temper say otherwise. When Rowen accidentally blows up the school gym, she discovers a dark secret her fathers have kept from her-she's the heir to an evil queen's throne. The current evil queen, Petronella Grimshaw, is desperate to crown Rowan the new sovereign and blackmails her into traveling to the queendom. Rowen has one month to learn how to evil queen, and it's not easy because there are those in the castle who want her dead, witches are disappearing, and an annoyingly cute swordsman keeps distracting her. Worst of all, Rowan finds herself in a duel against her biggest enemy: herself. She must fight her true fate, in the process uncovering deep familial mysteries and perhaps the biggest secret ever...That maybe, just maybe, she deserves to be loved after all. Princess Diaries meets the School for Good & Evil with a touch of Wednesday Addams thrown in for bad luck. The best kind! Cover by @ClarissaNorth
